Stations of the Cross Jesus Falls the First Time
Psalm 51 v5-6
5 remember, I was born guilty, a sinner from the moment of conception.
6 But you delight in sincerity of heart, and in secret, you teach me wisdom.
Because of my guilt, Jesus went to the Cross. The creator of the heavens and the earth and all in it, fell, bruised and scraped his knee under the sins of mankind, and mine. BUT, no matter the depth of our sin, there is more than enough grace in Christ. Through repentance, we discover that we serve a merciful God who cleanses us with His love. Though we deserve death, He gives us life.
When we stumble or fall, we land in God’s grace and we can lean back in His mercy.
Dear Lord God, Stay near me, You know how weak I am.
