Jesus is Made to Bear His Cross Psalm 51 v3-4

3 For I am well aware of my offences, my sin is constantly in mind.

4 Against you, you alone, I have sinned, I have done what you see to be wrong, that you may show your saving justice when you pass sentence, and your victory may appear when you give judgment,

Jesus is given his cross to bear. That statement couldn’t be more false…not HIS cross but mine. How many times a day does a person make a conscientious decision to do, say or act in a way that we know is not pleasing to God, but we do it any way. For me more times that I care to count. But yet, God is always ready and waiting to take me back. All I have to do is ask. God, the Father, is head over heels in love with me. To mnwe that thought is more than I can sometimes fathom.

In Hosea 11:8 God says, “My heart is changed within me; all my compassion is aroused.” Even when he was so upset with his people for turning to idols his heart still was flipping head over heels and his compassion aroused. What a loving, forgiving and full-of-kindness God we have!
