“We desire to be able to welcome Jesus at Christmas-time, not in a cold manger of our heart, but in a heart full of love and humility, in a heart so pure, so immaculate, so warm with love for one another.”
“It’s Christmas every time you let God love others through you. Yes, it is Christmas every time you smile at your brother and offer him your hand.”
“At this Christmas when Christ comes, will He find a warm heart? Mark the season of Advent by loving and serving others with God’s own love and concern.”
Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, Make in me a warm heart. Help me to let go and put aside my own wants and desires in this season of Advent. Help me to search out, offer a helping hand, an encouraging word, and a simple smile to those in need. Beloved Christmas Miracle, save me, I wait and long for your coming.
Music:
O Come, O Come Immanuel
O come, O King of nations, bind
in one the hearts of all mankind.
Bid all our sad divisions cease
and be yourself our King of Peace.
