“If so great and good a Lord, then, on coming into the Virgin’s womb, chose to appear despised, needy, and poor in this world, so that people who were in utter poverty and want and in absolute need of heavenly nourishment might become rich in Him by possessing the kingdom of heaven, then rejoice and be glad! Be filled with a remarkable happiness and a spiritual joy!”
Dear Lord Jesus, You left your Heavenly throne to come and live among us., poor, frail, helpless humans. Like a bunch of sheep without a shepherd. You came led us on the path to everlasting life with You in Your kingdom. Following you can lead us to refreshment, joy and happiness. Beloved Christmas Miracle, save me, I wait and long for your coming.
The Song of Zechariah
In the tender compassion of our God
the dawn from on high shall break upon us,
to shine on those who dwell
in darkness and the shadow of death,
and to guide our feet into the way of peace.
Blessed be the Lord,
for he has come to his people and set them free.
