Two days this week, the Responsorial Psalm  has been “How great are the works of the Lord.” I thought it was unusual when I heard the response the second day in a row but that is how the readings had been planned for the year, I thought and moved on.  This morning on the way to morning Mass I was treated with some Great Works of the Lord! I wanted to share a few with you! Truly, the Lord creates great works for us to delight in!

The photos all took place over a few minutes in time, the colors and clouds were changing and moving before my eyes. A real treat to take in and enjoy!

I will give thanks to the LORD with all my heart
in the company and assembly of the just.
Great are the works of the LORD,
exquisite in all their delights.
R. How great are the works of the Lord!
Majesty and glory are his work,
and his justice endures forever.
He has won renown for his wondrous deeds;
gracious and merciful is the LORD.
R. How great are the works of the Lord!
He has given food to those who fear him;
he will forever be mindful of his covenant.
He has made known to his people the power of his works,
giving them the inheritance of the nations.
R. How great are the works of the Lord!
