Today, at Mass, Farther Will asked us to ponder on the emptiness of the tomb. Let go of the thoughts of the Resurrection, we have 40 days after Easter to celebrate and learn more about the Resurrection, just for today, ponder on the emptiness of the tomb and with Wonder and Awe marvel at God’s goodness, His majesty, grace and mercies. No matter what we do, God’s covenant with us will not be broken. He will and does keeps coming after us to draw us near and bring us back into His flock.
