Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

When we remove all obstacles to his presence, he will come, at any hour and moment, to dwell spiritually in our hearts, bringing with him the riches of his grace.  St. Charles Borromeo

Advent is a time to remove all obstacles, fear, anxiety, money or anything standing in the way of listening for God’s soft whisper in our life. Just imagine what God’s plan for our life may look like if we remove everything standing in the way of His grace, mercy and love. We are greatly loved. God has a plan of great future and hope for us.

Lord, led me to that desert place, as Advent draws to a close, so I may hear the whisper of your voice. So that I may learn and live, in accordance with what your plan is for me.
